Naturally Beautiful

Isn't it fun to fall in love with a new product?  One of my favorite ways to stay in the loop on the latest beauty trends is to ask my friends what they're using. So, I figured I'd use this post to spill the beans on a few essentials I keep on hand.

I am always reaching for products in the natural and organic category. After landing in the industry over eight years ago, I haven't looked back. The less chemicals my body has to process, the better!

I've never been a big fan of heavy foundation and am pretty minimalist when it comes to makeup. The Color + Correct is great for an easy, clean look. With the 300+ days of sunshine here in Denver, I need the SPF 30 to stay protected from harmful UVA/UVB rays. Living in the constant sunshine is tough, wouldn't you say?

I recently bought this cleansing gel (thanks to a friend's suggestion!), and am loving how refreshed my skin feels after using it. I tend to be on the oily side and it really seems to clean well.

Thin hair, meet your new best friend. Whether you plan to wear your hair straight or curly, this booster is a great product to add fullness to your frock. I've also noticed my curls last a lot longer when I have it applied. While you're at it, go ahead and pick up a bottle of Giovanni's foam styling mousse too; you won't regret it!

Ok, I have a serious obsession with lip balms. I probably have one (if not multiple) on me at all times. Although I could probably write a whole post just on this topic, I'll spare you the in-depth analysis. Lately, KMF balms are always by my side. When I'm outdoors I reach for the Sport Balms with SPF, especially when I'm going to be out on a long mountain bike ride (some trails can be brutally exposed to the sun). Otherwise, you'll currently find me smacking my lips to both the Strawberry and Sliced Peach Balms.

Well, I hope I've given you a few new items to investigate. I'd love to hear what's on your list!
