The season of giving is upon us! I am always looking for ideas to impress a hard-to-buy for person and wanted to share my favorite go-to item: personalized stationary. This type of gift shows some thought and is something I’ve always enjoyed receiving since I wouldn’t normally think to buy it for myself.

So, who should I buy for?

Your parents and in-laws: Stick with simple names or monograms. Keep in mind you could just pair first names together too.

Teachers: Opt for a simple design or go with a school theme option.

Grandparents: If your grandparents are anything like mine, you know they are always good about sending correspondence via snail mail. I love buying thank you cards for them to have on hand.

Your Boss: Again, simple is probably the route to go here. First & last name or first and last initial monogram.

There are endless companies who sell personalized stationary, but I've been wanting to try out one in particular called Basic Invite. They are one of the few websites which allow customers almost unlimited color options. You can literally change the color of each element on the card to over 180 different options. Needless to say, I had a lot of fun putting together the stationary samples for this post!

If you're organized enough to be working on your holiday cards right now you're in luck! Basic Invite is offering 30% off with coupon code: holi30. In addition to your photo personalized Christmas cards, you can also use the coupon code for your party season needs like a holiday work party invitation or my personal favorite, an ugly sweater Christmas party. They have an impressive collection of 500 Christmas and holiday cards with address printing available (which in my opinion, is a must-have when choosing where to print my cards).

Lastly, don’t forget personalized stationary is a wonderful gift for many occasions outside of the holidays: new home, new baby, new job, weddings, graduations and birthdays. In fact, the very inspiration for this post came from some lovely stationary with my new address.

Do yourself a favor and knock out your (personalized) gift giving all in one place this holiday season. Make a list of who you need to buy for and start customizing at Basic Invite today!
